Solo sub-adult bear making its way down a rocky hill, then back up. When it had moments to rest, it seemed to be grooming its paws or eating berries. At one point it was chewing on some thin sticks and then carried some away out of view (in second photo). Light blood on right side of face, probably from a recent meal. Some scarring on its face and thigh.
Always carry bear spray when hiking in Canada.
